Windows 7 on me laptop! Thanks guv, that'd be Microsoft, right, in their field, anyway, and for my latest O.S.
But who does come to mind first when we think about computing these days, Microsoft, Apple, Google?

What do I want for Xmas?
A frigging Spell checker, an Undo button, and a drag down function in OpenOffice.org BASE would do for starters, please! And more besides, thank you!
Oh yeah and the 2009 Dandy annual.
Are these tools already available to add on? Then please wrap them up bug-free and stable, and send um my way, cheers Noel.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, Where's My Favicons Mozilla?
Anybody whom doesn't know, a Favicon is the wee little icon that appears in the address bar of your browser and is an easier way of locating the website in your bookmarks/favourites when you need to call upon it, it's less likely to take up your time and give you a headache when searching.
For the past few months my bookmarks have increased and so have the headaches. But no matter how many updates to the Firefox browser Mozilla installs, <!-- @page { margin: 2cm } P { margin-bottom: 0.21cm } -->apparently it appears that there are still no signs of the Favicons. This hasn't always been the case with the Mozilla Firefox Browser, that's why I'm asking the question now.
Maybe it's a security issue, I just don't know.
Obviously I'm not literally getting a headache from this, so no cures, lawsuits, tea or sympathy thank you very much, ok you can give me tea & sympathy and a bit of solidarity, thank you.
But it is time consuming and does strain your eyes a bit, from my experiences anyway.
Before you comment that it's just my machine, this problem was noticed on more than one machine.
Solidarity, please, anyone?
What came first, the Chicken or the egg?
What I mean by that in this context (the day after Halloween) is, what Ghost story came first, written fiction or myth?
At what point did we think the creaking door or howling wind could be something more? Were we influenced by fairy tales, making our claims of sightings just that, what fiction dictated it possibly was, ergo, bizarre that it could ever be anything other than that, a fairy tale. Or did myth lend it's tales to the fiction writers?
Endnote:
There are a hell of a lot of pranksters out there who I'm sure would like to take full advantage of these situations. Some paranormal investigators hardly keep there next location to be investigated a secret (not to say that they are not thorough in their <!-- @page { margin: 2cm } P { margin-bottom: 0.21cm } -->preparation).
I myself was spooked last night by strange creaking noises. Although playing Devil's <!-- @page { margin: 2cm } P { margin-bottom: 0.21cm } -->advocate here and not wanting to take sides, I now have the Ghostbusters on speed dial.
(No trivialisation intended, just lightening the mood, that's where I'm coming from).
My current video editing software's (of which I purchased) upgrade of which I've had to purchase also (So, if you're following, I've now purchased the same brand of video editing software twice in a few years).
I did actually need the latest version as the previous version failed to save the finished edit in the format I wanted or rather apart from the clip editing looked no different to the original movie. Plus my O.S was failing to get on with the previous version any more and refused to open the software. (this wasn't always the case, I was very pleased with it till the last few months)
Although incensed at having to do this, that's not my beef. The latest version refuses to recognise the projects from my previous version that I have still to save yet to the format of my choice.
But I'll find a way to resolve this... I'll start from scratch, that should only take a few years, lol!
Google Wave is the Internet, without borders!
(Don't quote me on that, ok you can if you wish!)
A breakdown in communications seems to have lost my Google Wave invite though, (quick, spruce up my google profile a bit!).
Don't ask me how cuz I really don't know! Well I kind of do, same as anyone else of course, awaiting theirs.
Apologies for all the contradictions, done me back in, the painkillers making me a a bit flaky, spose!
The release to the cloud of my video of the Adult Dunnock, and Fledglings is long over due and when the editing bugs sod off, and peace is restored, I'll have another attempt to set them free.
Think I'll leave the review of the camera involved in this conspiracy till another time.
And in the interim... Enjoy!
New heating system now installed, in place and ready to go. My thoughts about the look and feel of it I think I'd better keep to myself, any plans for minimalism décor may have to be shelved and any intentions to swing a cat best forgotten put it that way. Still, I do get a decent shower.
